Production Information
A steel workshop is a facility or space equipped and designed for the manufacturing of different kinds of products for the industrial field. It is typically equipped with various machinery and tools for processing products.
This kind of steel building is made entirely or primarily from steel, its main structure includes steel beams, steel columns, steel trusses, etc. These steel materials are combined together by bolts. It offers durability, strength, and safe working conditions for labor activities.
It can be customized to fit the specific needs and requirements of the clients, including the size, layout, and features such as overhead cranes, ventilation systems, and insulation. A good steel workshop provides a dedicated space for production, ensuring efficient workflow and improving productivity.
The steel product we display here is an automobile manufacturing workshop. This kind of workshop is a place where various automobile parts are processed and manufactured. Assemble the parts into a complete vehicle. Perform various performance and quality checks on vehicles. And debug the vehicle to ensure its good performance.
Steel workshop building components
1>Fasteners( bolts and nuts) for jointing: The common connection method of ordinary steel structure workshop is anchor bolt(φ24~φ64mm) connections. It includes hinge connection and rigid connection. High Strength bolts M20,10.9 Grade are used to connect the steel columns and pressure-type constructional elements. Common bolt M20 is for tie rods connect to the columns, and galvanized bolt M12 is for roof and wall purlin.
2>Primary framing: This includes the steel columns, beams, and trusses that provide the structural support for the building. These components are made from high-strength steel and are designed to withstand various loads and forces.
3>Secondary framing: This includes purlins, bracing, and eave struts that support the roof and wall panels. These components help distribute the load evenly and provide additional structural stability.
4>Roof and wall panels: Steel workshop buildings are typically enclosed with steel roof and wall panels. These panels offer weather protection, and insulation, and can be customized to meet specific aesthetic requirements.
5>Doors and windows: Steel workshops often have large doors, such as overhead roll-up doors or sliding doors, to accommodate the entry and exit of equipment and materials. Windows can also be included to provide natural light and ventilation.
6>Overhead cranes: Depending on the workshop's requirements, an overhead crane(5~20 tons)system may be installed. These cranes help with lifting and moving heavy materials and equipment within the workshop.
7>Utilities and services: Steel workshops can be equipped with essential utilities such as electrical systems, lighting fixtures, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Packing & Delivery
We have a skillful loading team not only for the wall and roof panel
but also for the large steel structure frame:
Sandwich panel load method:
Wall panel: 950mm/1150mm width loading
Roof panel: 1050mm width loading
Steel structure frame load method:
Steel structure frame can be shipped by 40' open top container or 40' HQ container.
The open-top container is convenient for loading and unloading, as they can be loaded and unloaded materials one by one using a crane. However, the shipping cost is high.
The 40-container can use a steel pallet to pack the materials, the whole pallet of goods will be pushed or pulled in and out of the container. The shipping cost will be cheaper but will increase the cost of the pallet, which is about 1 ton of steel cost.
However, our most common way of loading cabinets is to use 40'HQ without pallets, which is the cheapest way to load container.
Why steel structure workshop is a popular choice in various industries?
Sturdy and long-lasting:
Steel is a durable material that can withstand extreme weather conditions, seismic activity, and heavy loads.
Cost-effective:
Steel structures require less maintenance and steel structures can be prefabricated off-site, which can reduce the construction time and labor costs.
Versatility:
Steel structures offer flexible design, they can be easily customized to meet specific industrial requirements and accommodate various activities.
Speed of Construction:
Steel structures can be erected quickly, which enables faster project completion times.
Sustainability:
Steel is a recyclable material, making it an environmentally friendly choice. Reducing waste, and conserving natural resources.
Safety:
Steel structures undergo rigorous testing and quality control, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Steel is also fire-resistant, providing added safety in case of fire incidents.
