This steel warehouse is more comprehensive than the usual one because it will join the existing warehouses, which are identical to these designs (in dimensions).

Therefore, the connection details may be adjusted, and other parts like:

·        Sag rods

·        Sheet claddings

·        Column protectors

·        Facial boards and other items

The client required the entire structure: the structural steel frame, Z-purlins, Cladding (roof sheeting), and all other accessories, apart from the Civil works.

3. Welding

The minimum size of the fillet welding for any that is not defined in the

drawings shall be 6mm with full welding.

4. Fasteners( bolts and nuts) for jointing

High Strength bolts Class 10.9 used to connect the Steel Columns and

pressure type high strength bolts Class 10.9 used to connect the

constructional elements.

• Anchor bolt : M24 ( 84 set)

• High strength bolt: M20 (500 set)

• Common bolt: M20 (180 set)

• Galvanized bolt: M12 (1400 set)

• Turnbuckle: M20 (200 set)

5. Derusting and painting 

Shot blasting to 2.5 and Applying Paint with the following

2 layers of primary anti-rust paint 80 microns.

1 coat of alkyd finishes paint 30-40 microns.
